That's probably because all the green jellies that you've seen are the hybrid-type ones, and that's pretty much how most of the players had been building their green jellies.

I wouldn't call it perfect but I can't say that it's bad either, It can be really strong if you built it right, I guess that it depends on the pet type and what equipments/abilities you want it to use. You can always check the "Pet Growth" to see the weaknesses and the strengths of your pet to make better decisions.
