Development has been going well so far with anticipated challenges that were interesting and required specific solutions to achieve the intended outcome. At a particular point, there had to be another decision that deviates away from the previous Flash Client. This decision was made to better support the goal of supporting various input types( Keyboard/Mouse, Touchscreen, Gamepad ) with the game GUI navigation. Even with partial implementation, the new Unity3D client now has superior navigation capabilities to its predecessor Flash Client. To achieve this, the Friends Panel and the Guild Panel have been split into separate Panels.
The Friends Panel has been recreated to be more compact and simplified for easier viewing of the friend's list and easy navigation when using any supported input type( Keyboard/Mouse, Touchscreen, Gamepad ).
Similar to the Friends Panel, the Guild Panel now has its dedicated area, but due to the various elements of sub-content that needed to be displayed. The Guild Panel has also been recreated to allow for content to be displayed appropriately, easily accessible, and support different input types for navigation.
